Sondage numéro 1
- Meilleur album Wu en 2007? -30 personnes ont participé au sondage, lancé au début de l'année.
8 Diagrams est arrivé en tete avec 21 votes (70%). Vient ensuite Afro Samurai et Razah's Ladder ex aequo avec 3 votes chacun (10%), Puis The Offering avec 2 votes (6%). Big Doe Rehab et Renaissance Child ferment la marche avec respectivement 1 (3%) et 0 vote.

Award du "rappeur le plus proche des animaux" pour Masta Killa
Wu-Tang Clan member Masta Killa was recently awarded peta2’s Libby Award (short for liberation) for Best Animal-Friendly Hip-Hop Artist.
Peta2 is the world’s largest youth animal rights organization and is an offshoot of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
Other rappers nominated for the award included dead prez, Sage Francis, K-OS and others. “I’ll do anything that’s going to save animals", Masta Killa said. “Anytime I can encourage people to think twice before [doing] anything to animals … that’s a good thing.”
The Brooklyn native is also a vegetarian and was featured in a previous peta2 advertising campaign that encouraged people to become vegetarians.
“When it comes to fighting animal abuse, peta2 and Masta Killa are marching to the same beat,” added peta2 Assistant Director Dan Shannon. “Masta Killa is living proof that there’s strength in compassion and that the best thing that you can do for yourself—and for animals—is to go vegetarian.”

"The clan pours onto the stage like a Swat team to Wu-Tang Clan ain’t Nuthing ta F’Wit. I am front “row” separated by a chest-leveled steel gate in the large standing area of the ballroom, with at least 250 people behind me all vying for a closer view. Thoughts of a European soccer game fence crush are brief, but returned w/ jumps & benevolent pushes cooked into a miniscule mosh pit. A renowned energetic Method Man amps the crowd further as he enters & runs across the stage while performing his verse. Method’s stage skills are leaps above the other members, whom are contempt with nodding in the cut pulling from the various blunts."

Un T-shirt collector pour GFK
A l'occasion de la sortie de son 7eme solo, Ghostface Killah et Def Jam se sont associés à Zoo York pour produire 500 T-Shirts et planches de skate.
La planche reprend un artwork de l'album tandis que le t-shirt est composé des différents alias de Ghost.

U-God attaque Wu Music Group pour 170 000$
Encore un probleme d'argent dans le Wu. Après GFK c'est U-God qui accuse Wu Music Group de ne pas l'avoir payé.
"Drama continues to plague Hip-Hop collective Wu-Tang Clan, as group member U-God is suing Wu Music Group, claiming the label owes him over $170,000 in back royalties. The rapper filed a lawsuit on Tuesday (January 8) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, claiming that he has not been paid advances due for the latest Wu-Tang album 8 Diagrams since signing a deal in May of 2007. U-God, born Lamont Hawkins, is also suing Wu Music for income earned from the group’s Rock The Bells Tour, a publishing deal with BMG and proceeds from the sales of Wu-Tang merchandise. "Defendant has failed and/or refused to pay certain monies currently due and owing to plaintiff, despite plaintiff’s repeated demands that it do so," the lawsuit reads."

Dans une récente vidéo Shavo, le bassiste de System Of A Down, a anoncé que que tout le groupe (Achozen) travaillait avec Hans Zimmer, et pas seulement RZA.

Dans un futur proche, dans un monde ravagé par la guerre, en proie à l'anarchie et aux intégrismes de tous ordres. Le mercenaire Hugo Cornelius Toorop est chargé d'escorter de la Russie au Canada une jeune fille se prénommant Marie. The Announcement: In a recent interview, GZA announced he has completely given up smoking herb to become more productive.
Post Ganja: Yet to be seen, though GZA says his previous attempt to clean up was undone by a tour. “In certain towns, people would just hand you weed,” he says. The Clan are currently on the road for their latest album 8 Diagrams.
