Raekwon prévoit de nouveaux projets
Pour faire patienter jusqu'a la possible sortie d'OBFCL 2 en mars 2009 Raekwon annonce plusieur nouveaux projets.
Tous d'abord on apprend qu'il va réaliser un "Cuban Linx Bonus DVD" et un livre "The Purple Book" qui sera une sorte de mémoire parlant de ce qu'il a réaliser dans le Rap Game.
"We’re definitely making a Cuban Link bonus DVD for everyone to check out that’s worth a look,"
"At the same time, we’re doing a book called the Purple Book, which is the memoirs of everything that I’ve been through in this game and what the significance of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is."
Il annonce ensuite la sortie d'une mixtape intitulé "Burning Bags". Elle sera normalement disponible gratuitement sur le net. Il n'y a pas vraiment de date annoncée.
Enfin il s'explique sur le retard d'OBCL II :
"The RZA, the legendary J Dilla, Dr Dre. and just those three elements there, that’s really dangerous, the heat is crazy,""It’s an underground record. I kept each producer in the zone. You’d never know that the record had all these different producers if I didn’t tell you, because they came with gritty beats to make a gritty album. We came with a couple energy boosters to get the stadiums jumping but for the most part, it’s the same type of storytelling."

La mère d'ODB s'oppose à la sortie de la Bio "Diggin For Dirt"
La mère d' Ol'Dirty Bastard, Cherry Jones, appelle les fans à boycotter la Biographie sur son fils : Diggin' For Dirt, The Life And Death Of OBD, prévu pour le 2 décembre prochain.
Le livre, écrit par Jaime Lowe, s'interrogerait sur la santé mentale d'ODB par l'intermédiaire de son ancien procureur Robert Shapiro.
"I am asking all of Dirty's fans to boycott this book as none of the proceeds are going to the children and this author’s motives and intentions seems to be in the vein of disgracing my son’s legacy,”
“Quotes from Robert Shapiro in [Wednesday's] newspaper are shameful that an attorney who represented my son for less then a minute and has been out of the spotlight would comment and speculate on my son’s health in order for a mention of his name in print.”
Cherry Jones espère aussi pouvoir sortir le dernier album de son fils pour le 5eme anniversaire de sa mort. Les revenus de l'album serait alors réparti entre ses 13 enfants.

Leur but était de trouver un endroit réellement underground pour l'artwork de l'album. Ils se sont donc rendu à la Country Boy Mine :

Interview de Folk & Stress
Le nouveau duo Folk&Stress à accordé un Interview au site WuForever.
Ils y abordent la création de leur groupe et leurs débuts dans le milieu. Ils explique ensuite la réalisation et le contenue de leur 1er album "The Box". Enfin ils évoque leur expérience avec GZA, à la suite du "Liquid Swordz tour", dont ils étaient la 1ere partie.
